Rebekkah joined Shift during Historypin’s beta launch in 2010 and has been dedicated to the project ever since. Her ability to take on new challenges with ease has meant she has quickly risen to her current role as Operations Director.

She is responsible for delivering Historypin’s programme of projects around the world and collaborating with funders and cultural heritage partners to design, deliver and evaluate projects that increase access to cultural heritage collections and harness their potential to unlock social value for communities.

Rebekkah works closely with Historypin’s Executive Director, Breandán, to deliver our digital and social objectives, our research and evaluation team to define and implement the research, measurement and evaluation frameworks which shape Historypin and its projects, our digital team to develop the Historypin platform, as well as managing all the Historypin Community Officers who work on the ground to deliver community engagement projects.

During her time at Historypin she has helped to build and maintain a global cultural heritage network of 2,000 organisations, managed the delivery of 25 Historypin projects, and promoted Historypin to local heritage and community groups through numerous talks and workshops.

Rebekkah holds a BA Hons in History from the University of Cambridge. She is much more a night owl than a lark, and frequently sends emails in the early hours of the morning.
