Historypin Internships
Historypin Internship: Content & Promotion
We are looking for interns who are passionate about helping people and archives share their history.
Historypin is a way for millions of people to come together to share glimpses of the past and build up the story of human history. People around the world are creating a global communal archive by sharing photos, video, audio clips and stories on the Historypin website and app.
Launched in NYC in July 2011, the site has had over 2 million visits, 60,000 pieces of content uploaded and won the 2011 Webby Award for the Best Charitable/Non Profit Organisation.
The Historypin team is working with 100s of cultural institutions, local communities and individuals around the world to open up access to historical photograph collections and bring people together to create rich communal histories.
